We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic as a dedicated Social Worker at Eagle Ridge Hospital located in Maple Ride, BC.
Build on your education & experience as you:
    •Provide therapeutic counselling services to designated patients experiencing complicated circumstances relating to the patient's illness or the dying process. •Conduct social and psychosocial assessment of patients and families and interprets the information using a variety of tools in accordance with professional standards and clinical practice. •As a member of the multidisciplinary team, provides information regarding patient's psychosocial situation and participates in developing a comprehensive plan of care with/for the patient; collaborates and consults with other community professionals, as needed. •Participate in quality improvement activities by providing input into the development, implementation and evaluation of program goals, objectives, policies and procedures. •Promote patent/family autonomy by ensuring their participation in the planning, decision making and the development of problem solving abilities.
To join the organization we require you to have:
    •Master's Degree in Social Work from an approved School of Social Work. •One (1) year recent related clinical experience working in an acute care and/or hospice palliative care setting or an equivalent combination of training and experience. •Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers.
