is searching for our next Relief Slot Manager/Slot Supervisor
. You will be responsible for creating a memorable experience for our patrons by responding to escalated patron issues on the gaming floor, handling large jackpot payouts, and supervising frontline staff. You will assist with the hiring, training, evaluating, recognition, and development of your team. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to your management of people and interacting with customers while delivering exceptional customer service. Duties & Responsibilities:
•Perform all duties in accordance with the guidelines, practices, rules, policies and procedures established by GCGC and BCLC and ensure all Slot employees of the same •Maintain a high level of knowledge and integrity of Slot operations •Monitor Slot employees for procedural compliance and address all deficiencies through corrective action in a timely manner •Monitor Slot employees to ensure high levels of service, efficiency and security are maintained •Provide detailed and comprehensive training to all Slot employees •Prepare hourly, daily, weekly and monthly reports •Resolve customer disputes or irregularities without compromising the interests and/or integrity of GCC and its employees, and forward unresolved issues to the Operations Manager, Slots, when required •Uphold exceptional guest service to our guests at all times •Any other duties as assigned by the Slot Department Manager QUALIFICATIONS:
•Available to work up to 40 hours per week in a variety of shifts including evenings, graveyards and weekends as we operate 24 hour per day, seven days a week. •One year Slot experience preferred. •Ability to work as Slot Supervisor when required •A positive "can do" attitude, and the flexibility to perform duties at the highest level in a constantly changing, exciting and evolving machine gaming business. •Strong oral and written communication skills. •Strong leadership skills. •Manual dexterity, technical aptitude and trouble shooting ability is an asset. •Basic knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset. •Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. •Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced, busy environment. •Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certification. •Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication.
