Established single family Kitchen Cabinet manufacturer is looking for a Showroom Manager for our Langley location.  As an industry leader for decades, this company produces cabinets of uncompromising quality, delivering a unique and positively branded experience to it’s customers throughout Canada, the United States, and parts of Asia. 

The Showroom Manager will be a leader in the showroom and ensure that all customer projects are completed fully. They will generate purchase orders, create monthly reports, and email and approve daily invoices. As well, the Showroom Manager, in consultation with the Project Coordinator, will assist with installations by communicating changes to projects, sending confirmation and invoices to clients, and monitoring back-ordered items and accessories. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the communication between homeowners, business partners and head office to ensure timely progress and completion of all projects, assist consumers and/or trade professionals with design solutions for their project
  • Ensure all clients and guests visiting the showroom enjoy the same premium brand experience
  • Develop a business plan to ensure that there is continuous growth of traffic within the showroom including developing and implementing creative solutions for attracting specific audiences and demographics to the Showroom, partner with the marketing department to track and manage leads Manage 4-6 team members, organizing work schedules and calendars, leading team meetings, and conducting progress reviews
  • Coach, and train design consultants and sales support in operations, product knowledge, sales, and customer service
  • Contact clients about their experience with the Langley Showroom, Designers and product deliveries
  • Approve and coordinate all install, supplies and service invoices, process customer payments and returns, generate purchase orders for showroom supplies, analyze and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports 

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ sales and customer service experience, preferably in the kitchen cabinet industry
  • Experience managing, developing, and coordinating a team of employees
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office programs)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented and focused
  • Timely and effective decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to promote a team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
