About our Client
Our client, an electronics distributor based in Delta, is currently looking for a Service Technician on a full-time permanent basis to join their dynamic team in Delta. The shifts run from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. This position offers a competitive salary with wide range of additional benefits. • Assessing the work to be done on equipment for repairs
• Evaluating pump repair and submitting it to the Service Supervisor
• Executing required repair and ensuring that all steps are duly followed
• Testing various pieces of equipment and recording the results
• Taking care of shipping and receiving
• Monitoring inventory and parts control
• Planning and executing out maintenance contracts as sold to customer
• Answering emergency calls and reaching out to customers to identify problems

• Must have 3-5 years of experience, ideally in pump repair
• Experience with rotating equipment is required
• Ability to worked with tight tolerances (1 thou)
• Must have a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electromechanical
• Red Seal Millwright certificate is preferred
• Experience in customer services repair is an asset
• Ability to assemble mechanical equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable and detail-oriented
