Jim Pattison Auto Group is currently seeking a Lot Attendant to join our team at our Downtown Toyota location.

Position Summary:

Working under the direction of the Service Manager and/or Lot Manager, the Lot team will direct the flow of traffic on our dealership's parking lots, wash and vacuum cars in for service, and will provide general lot supervision throughout the normal course of business.  
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing the flow of traffic for the dealership lots and the general service area
Moving vehicles to the appropriate lot sector when parked in incorrect department stalls
Maintain a clean and safe parking lot at all times
Maintaining lot order, even in designated customer parking areas
Performing various degrees of cleaning vehicles within the Service department
Vacuuming floors and seats
Cleaning all trash, debris and dirt from the interior of the vehicle.
Using hoses and pumps for washing and rinsing vehicles.
Managing the inventory of cleaning supplies.
Communicate effectively with Service Manager and Service team when vehicle regarding vehicle status and condition
Perform full visual inspection of vehicle condition prior to cleaning
Notify Service Staff of dent/damage/stains to vehicle condition prior to cleaning
Maintain a clean and safe work space
Remain abreast on all tool and chemical operation
Additional duties as outlined by Management


Ability to work outdoors and stand on your feet for extended periods of time
Desire to exceed customer expectations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
Applicant must be flexible with assuming day and evening shifts
Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
