Prime Pantry is looking for experienced, result-oriented Software Development Engineers who are capable of translating business requirements into robust scalable software solution. We own the Prime Pantry buying experience (www.amazon.com/pantry). We are looking for well-rounded, entrepreneurial and think-big engineers to help us build the world class scale Prime Pantry software platform to support our business growth.
If you are an experienced Software Engineer who is interested to use AWS technologies and website & mobile software development to solve difficult but interesting business problems, then you should come joining Amazon Prime Pantry team to change the way we shop for Consumables.

Basic Qualifications

    •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and related fields.
    •Eight+ years of experience in software development.

    •Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, complexity analysis, data structures, problem solving, and object-oriented analysis and design
    •Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Perl


Preferred Qualifications

    •Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
    •Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
    •Working knowledge of common Internet technologies (e.g. HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX), Mobile software development and Amazon AWS technology such as AWS SQS, EMR, and SNS.
