CA$34.00 – CA$38.00 per hour

⚠️ This is a hands-on technical installation role — NOT a security guard position. Applicants must have direct experience installing and servicing alarm systems, access control, CCTV, or low-voltage electronics. Applications without relevant technical experience will not be considered.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Security Systems Technician to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in delivering and maintaining advanced security systems for our clients, bringing your technical expertise to every project while upholding our standard of excellence.

What You'll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain intrusion alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and related security equipment
• Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams for accurate system setup
• Configure network devices including Ethernet switches, routers, WiFi, and PoE devices
• Collaborate with team members to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard
• Provide on-site technical support and training to clients
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
• Document service activities accurately and stay current with emerging security technology

What You Bring (all required unless noted)

• Minimum 2 years experience installing and servicing alarm systems, access control, or CCTV — required
• Strong knowledge of computer networking, Ethernet, and telecom systems — required
• Familiarity with ICT, Keyscan, Hanwha, Inaxsys, DSC, and/or Mircom products — required
• Valid driver's licence with a clean abstract; travel required — required
• Electrical experience — strong asset
• Security TQ in British Columbia — preferred
• Certifications in security or networking — asset
