As a key member of Business Products team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing national pricing strategies for Business Broadband and Core Wireline services.
In this role you will demonstrate your ability to work effectively cross functionally and move adeptly from strategic to tactical initiatives. Key responsibilities include defining pricing strategy and objectives, economic modelling, competitive benchmarking, cost model analysis, and post-implementation review.

•Understand the market, regulatory, and competitive landscape, leveraging primary and secondary market research; reporting & monitoring of financial performance, Sales win/loss rates, and sales engagement levels of Proposal House; and investigation of opportunity losses; to assess the effectiveness of existing price books and promotions and to quantify the threat of competitive developments
•Review findings in discussions and decision making sessions with peers, sales teams and product marketing to identify market problems and opportunities, and understand gaps in pricing or service offerings
•Recommend price solutions, market strategies and drive gap resolution to Product Management to better support and/or reposition existing product offerings to meet market demands as required
•Develop timely rating recommendations, complete with financial, customer, and product impacts; secure requisite approvals (PM, Leadership, Sales, Finance & Legal services as required); implement rating changes and promotions; and support the training of Sales and Sales support areas on price book revisions and pricing promotions
•Ensure that rating recommendations effectively reflect product strategy and tactics related to pricing, bundling, positioning, product lifecycle, placement, promotion, partnerships, financial targets (both revenue and EBITDA), channel compensation recommendations and service guidelines
•Provide customer deal criteria/standards; competitive market positioning information; and rating & margin guidelines for adjustment of Price Books to Regional Solution and Proposal House teams
•Provide pricing and contract support and advice to teams on specific Enterprise and TBS opportunities as required
•Approve or deny requests for pricing beyond the provided guidelines
•Provide specific pricing review and recommendations on Sales escalations of opportunities handled by the Regional Solution and Proposal House teams
•Understand the costing service elements, methodologies and tools for to Standard Business Solutions Marketing products and initiate requests for improvements and review of costing to improve margins in rating of services
•Provide competitive and pricing strategy impacts into the development of financial outlooks and budgeting as required
•Collaborate with Product Management, other Channels (Enterprise, SBS, TBS, PS) to better understand market/competition and maintain awareness of respective offers and initiatives
•Work to develop and enhance competitive tracking processes and databases
•Carry out marketing and research studies and projects as required by ISM management
•Mentor and support more junior team members respecting services and rating to ensure ISM initiatives and recommendations are based on sound understanding of services and market researchQualifications:Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
