The Marketing Communications (MarComm) - Strategy team turns business strategy into communications strategy, developing customer journeys and communications programs that meaningfully engage customers and drive acquisition, retention, and brand advocacy. We dig deeply into our Home Solutions products, services and programs to unlock the most compelling value propositions and customer stories, and then we enable those stories to be brought to life through campaigns.Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
The successful candidate will ensure that TELUS communications and our customer experience support business objectives and desired customer outcomes. This individual understands the incredibly fast pace of the technology world and thrives in constant change. This role supports new product and service initiatives in the Home Solutions Portfolio and will span many exciting products, services and programs. Here's how
•Collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain an up-to-date product roadmap to ensure new product launches are resourced within the communications team in a timely manner
•Develop product claims to communicate our competitive advantages in the market, this involves: a deep understanding of the technological capabilities of our home solutions products and how they benefit the lives of our customers
•Work with our legal and technology strategy teams to ensure claims are accurate, defendable and supported through data, and lead testing product testing initiatives if necessary
•Address competitive challenges with regards to communication of product and service capabilities, maintaining rigour around claim and trademark challenges
•Develop and maintain playbooks and guidelines for key repeated communications activities: naming and trademarks, claims development, stim, etc
•Innovate constantly, looking for ways to incorporate new ideas, best practices and process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness
•Help build a strong culture that brings out the best in our team members, helps make our team a great place to work, and provides team members with opportunities to build important skills that will help develop their careers Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Passion for marketing, branding and understanding how our technology works
•Known for your strong collaboration skills, with a track record of driving simplification, efficiency and repeatable process
•Strong sense of curiosity, thrive in an ambiguous environment and work tirelessly to drive initiatives forward
•Persuasive communications skills, advanced presentation skills, written and verbal, and project management experience
•Comfortable with managing varying volumes and priorities in a fast paced environment
•Up-and-coming leader who makes commitments, negotiates realistic delivery dates and delivers on what you commit; you hold others accountable for doing the same Great-to-haves
•Strong business acumen
•Experience using customer data and insights to inform strategy
