What's the job?

The Senior Manager, Application Integration is a key leader to the Applications team and will have overall management responsibility for Application Integration at Coast. The Manager will work closely with EPMO, ETS, Business Lines and external partners stakeholders and will lead the team to deliver the best digital experience for our members. The incumbent will be responsible for driving integration scope definition, generating and maintaining implementation and support policies, standards and procedures as well as contributing to product planning, risk/security management, and project management in alignment with Coast strategy. This role will also work closely with the IT Support team to ensure that the systems and platforms are supported and aligned with what is best for the company. The Senior Manager will lead, mentor, coach and motivate the Application Integration team and manage to their optimum performance levels and through their career development.

What you'll get to do:
Develop strong relationships with ITG's business clients with frequent and effective channels of communication.
Accountable for delivering creative and effective solutions to business problems which align to business objectives.
Advocate on behalf of the business clients in ITG
Support all brands/business areas and be the customers advocate to ensure the best digital customer experience in all developed solutions.
Ensure that measureable KPIs and targets are developed for the team, and that they align to the overall department/company goals.
Responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for continuous improvement.

Accountable for a long-term proactive approach to managing business applications ensuring that they are aligned to business and technology strategies.
Manage sprint schedules developed under project plans, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the sprint, coordinating actions, and resolutions.
Ensure continuous operational quality by managing the documenting of bug fixes and enhancements, also assigning tasks to the team members. solving conflicts.

Who are we looking for?
Minimum 7-9 Years of Job Related Experience
7 years of experience acquiring technical knowledge and experience in designing and implementing software and application solutions and conducting technical code reviews. 5 years experience leading teams on various technological enhancements and integrations
Minimum Formal Education
Bachelor's degree or a diploma requiring 3-4 years of full-time study
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a 3 year diploma program in Computer Science with an additional 2 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions.
Minimum Technical Skills
Solid Project management experience and ability
Excellent comprehension of information systems technologies and application architectures
Solid experience with different software development tools & methodologies including the agile development methodology such as Scrum, CI/CD and JIRA
Solid to advanced experience in developing employees and guiding them to reach their full potential and career goals
Demonstrated track record of managing multiple complex integration programs simultaneously to deliver technical solutions
Minimum Non-Technical Skills
Expert in managing teams of information technology professionals dealing with all aspects of the delivery of projects and services
Excellent communication skills to all levels within the organization
Ability to gain consensus amongst diverse stakeholders
Excellent mentoring and coaching skills
Must be a decisive decision-maker, self-motivated and a self-starter with an infectious"Can do" attitude; proactively seeks opportunities to serve in leadership roles
