We’re looking for a senior learning advisor to provide and facilitate learning and development solutions to enhance workplace and career performance. Our Corporate Learning Services department designs, coordinates, and delivers our leadership development program, corporate training workshops and programs, and other development solutions for employees. What you’ll do

As a senior learning advisor you will:

  • Facilitate leadership development and corporate professional development training
  • Analyze learning needs by consulting with internal stakeholders
  • Act as a centre of expertise, responding to queries and initiatives on learning and development needs including leadership development, corporate training, and team development
  • Coach emerging leaders, supervisors, managers, and directors on leadership development, professional effectiveness, and performance management principles and processes
  • Source or create learning solutions through our learning and development vendors
  • Oversee and administer the delivery of corporate training and leadership development programs and initiatives


Is this a good fit for you?

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Take a performance consulting approach and support or coach managers in identifying and resolving learning and development needs
  • Communicate with confidence to clients and co-workers at all levels of the organization, using accomplished written and verbal skills
  • Create collaborative, trusting relationships with client managers, learners, and vendors using excellent interpersonal skills
  • Keep current on trends and knowledge related to performance improvement in the workplace
  • Respond to client needs using exceptional customer service skills
  • Research and analyze information, and prepare written reports for clients or senior management


Your experience and educational background:

  • A degree in leadership, organizational development, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the facilitation of corporate leadership courses or programs
  • A minimum of five years of experience in performance consulting and providing leadership, team, and employee development solutions
  • Expert knowledge and experience in facilitating training on at least one of the following topics: leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, performance management
  • Strong facilitation skills and experience
  • A coaching certification is preferred
  • Current enrollment in or completion of the British Columbia Provincial Instructor diploma is an asset
  • A background in facilitating courses in increasing self-awareness, emotional intelligence, communication and leadership skills is an asset
