Senior Land Development Project Engineer: Harvey 2061 


We are currently seeking a Senior Land Development Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure group, located at our New Westminster office.  


  • Ensure designs meet local municipal standards, as well as provincial and federal acts, and regulations;
  • Conduct quantity take offs, estimates, specifications, tender documents, and engineering reports;
  • Oversee reviews of the construction of municipal infrastructure (water, sanitary, storm, power, communications and roads) to insure site improvements are constructed according to design plans and specifications;
  • Resolve construction conflicts, respond to field information requests and issue change orders;
  • Liaise with field/inspection staff to ensure completed work meets client expectations, municipal standards and business unit standards;
  • Track and manage own time in relation to project budget;
  • Communicate internally regarding project status;
  • Provide clients with updates within own scope of work;
  • Communicate in a clear and appropriate manner; and
  • Other duties, as assigned.



  • Graduate of a recognized Engineering degree program;
  • 7+ years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in storm water management systems modelling and sanitary lift station design would be an asset;
  • Possess or be actively working towards a P.Eng. Designation through APEGBC;
  • Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills;
  • Tact, listening ability and communication skills required;
  • Technical capabilities in Civil 3D is preferred;
  • Actively works to improve knowledge and experience in own discipline, while building knowledge of the organization, processes and customers; and
  • Able to travel as required for project workloads. Travel times will be higher in the summer months.


This is a fulltime position

Salary is open depending on experience
