Senior Integration Specialist/MuleSoft Developer

18 month contract with possibility of extension

Our crown corporation client is seeking a MuleSoft developer for a long term contract. The Senior Integration Specialist will help with MuleSoft onboarding and workload migration initiative and future API/batch development. They will also be available on call for production support requests.

Detailed Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  • Design, develop, unit test, deploy and support Mule applications
  • Lead/train/coach junior Mule developers
  • Production support, troubleshooting
  • Automation of various development/testing/monitoring activities
  • Working with peer groups to enable them to pick up API development on MuleSoft

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • A Bachelor or Technology degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Computing Science and a minimum of 6 years' Information Systems experience supporting complex enterprise systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of solid hands-on API/batch development experience on Mule ESB
  • Experience designing, developing, unit testing (munit), deployment and support of Mule Applications
  • Experience using a variety of MuleSoft connectors (Database, HTTP, FILE, FTP, SFTP, JMS, PeopleSoft)
  • Expertise using DataWeave to create reusable transformations
  • Experience coaching and leading junior MuleSoft developers
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, build and release pipelines, Azure Keyvault
  • Solid experience working with an API Management technology (Azure APIM, CA API Gateway or similar)
  • Solid Linux skills
  • SaFe/Agile training/certification
  • Experience working with On-prem RTF deployment of MuleSoft
  • Expertise tuning Mule applications for performance and efficiency
  • MuleSoft developer certification would be an asset (Mule 4)
  • Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment
  • Solid understanding of various Integration patterns
  • Java programming background
  • Experience using JMS technologies
