A day in the life:

As a Senior Geotechnical Technologist with WSP, you will:

• Promote safety culture by ensuring site specific HSE policies and safety standard procedures are adhered to
• Monitor geotechnical drilling, instrumentation installations, and core sample collections
• Undertake Sample Management duties which includes receiving samples, sample logistics and scheduling, testing preparation, and completion of project file documents
• Conduct laboratory testing using test methods such as CSA, ASTM, OPSS for soils, aggregates, concrete and construction materials
• Develop reports of field and laboratory results

What you'll bring to WSP ...

• Geological, Construction or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or similar work experience
• 10 or more years of related and referenceable experience in geotechnical field work
• Geotechnical drilling experience, specifically in the installation of geotechnical instruments
• Materials Testing Experience (Field and Laboratory)
• Knowledge CSA, ASTM, and Provincial Test Methods
• Experience working in the BC region
