Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a large client in the heavy industrial space to take on financial reporting and month-end duties for the organization. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone to work in a stable environment that is well set up for sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will work with a small team at the corporate office to consolidate information and prepare the financial statements, maintain the monthly working papers for the financial statements and MD&A, and prepare ad hoc reports for the Controller.

Requirements:

A CPA designation plus 4-5 years of progressive experience
Experience in an environment with multiple entities/locations/etc.
Strong analytical skills using Excel
Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
Proven ability to think independently and solve problems

Rewards:

$90-100k
