The Senior Client Project Manager is the primary interface between TELUS and our Wholesale Clients. They carry overall responsibility for Client satisfaction in the delivery of all TELUS products & services Accountable for the planning and successful delivery of large complex client facing projects for TELUS's largest clients in a multi-faceted, challenging, complex, single-disciplined environment.
Accomplishes the following duties independently:
•Manage all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close)
•Define project scope and objectives, secure appropriate resources
•Develop schedules to ensure successful timely delivery and completion of project
•Manage project financials
•Ensure control of project: dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, risks, dependencies and change
•Ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards
•Communicate project status effectively to variety of audiences including cross-functional teams, senior leaders and clients
•Manage client relations and expectations during implementation and delivery of client solutionQualifications:Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•Thorough understanding of project management methodologies, principles and practices
•Strong project management skills
•Ability to work effectively with various levels of management, cross functional teams and customers
•Thorough understanding of the TELUS group of companies, product portfolio and service delivery processes
•Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
•Business process knowledge and acumen
•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project
•Capable to produce presentations and detailed project schedules
•5+ years of equivalent experience
