As a Senior Business Systems Analyst I, you will be supporting our TELUS Employer Solutions team, working with the national PeopleSoft Developers, ensuring that project deliverables and business initiatives are met. You are proficient with PeopleSoft and HR Smart applications, and able to support configuration and changes within both applications as well as draft test plans. You possess strong abilities in relation to writing both functional and technical specs, and demonstrated ability in documenting and implementing process improvements and functionality into both applications.Here's how

You will develop strong relationships with program areas to support alignment of solutions with corporate strategies. As a trusted advisor and partner to the business and technology leaders
, you will serve as the main liaison between Client, Development team, Systems Admin team and DBA team. You will develop letters of expectation, communicate deliverables and provide guidance. You will document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business needs.
As an analyst
, you will review, define, analyze and evaluate the application technical requirements, business system, and user requirements, and translation into detailed specification design document, test plans, and user documentation for functional and technical completeness and accuracy. While translating the overall business requirements into the requirements for each component, you will manage the code review ensuring the code satisfies design specifications and complies with project standards.

•Lead, mentor and be accountable for teams in planning, design, testing and package configuration
•Oversee coding requirements, component, assembly, user acceptance testing plans
•Responsible for quality of test results
•Assist in project charter development, proof of concept testing, analysis and detail project planning
•Peer reviews, mentoring, communications with team manager and business unit stakeholders and/or external customer
•Manage and maintain relationships with customers
•Strategic thinking, and understanding of the customer vertical Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Experience working with a payroll processing organization
•With 10 or more years of experience in a relevant IT area (Functional, Analysis, development, QA, PM, Architecture)
•With over 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft HRMS modules
•PeopleSoft Finance would be a great asset
•With a university degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
•With experience in product test planning and execution, requirements analysis, requirements management / documentation, use cases, UML / object modelling
•IT methodology (Waterfall / RAD / Spiral / TELUS Methods)
•With other technical skills as per the team / project focus (e.g. Java, J2EE, Oracle) Business process modelling
•With a familiarity with relational database concepts, and PIA concepts. Great-to-haves
•TAM, AWE, Fluid, Time & Leave
•PeopleSoft Test framework experience
•On Call support experience
•Functional Team leadership skills
