As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients in different industries; including the Technology, Media, Retail & Consumer sector. Our engagements often involve working with our clients on difficult tax problems and tax advisory. As a tax expert, you will have the opportunity lend your tax expertise to our clients while developing new skill sets with the mentorship of our team.
As a Senior Associate specializing in Canadian Tax, you will also have the opportunity to:
Desire to work in a team-based environment - working on tax engagements in various industries, ultimately leading to greater levels of responsibility with clients who are some of the largest and most dynamic businesses in Atlantic Canada Our ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and broad based tax skills as a result of 3 years of prior experience in a professional services firm or in industry, with 2 years of tax consulting and/or compliance experienceStrong analytical capability, attention to detail, sound business sense and creative mind that have earned you the reputation of providing excellence in client service focused on helping clients solve their issuesDemonstrated ability to identify tax consulting opportunities and a willingness to effectively market services to existing and prospective clientsCPA or equivalent designation (or nearing completion)
