Your new company
Reputable Architecture firm in Vancouver and Victoria with over 40 years' in business is seeking an experienced Senior Architect for their Victoria office. This firm provides a full range of architectural, planning and interior design services. This firm is widely recognized for expertise in retail, mixed-use, residential, office and senior health-care projects.
Your new role
You will be coordinating projects and project teams from the Victoria office with minimal supervision through design development, construction documents preparation, and construction period services. The successful proponent will manage client relationships and team communication and will be responsible for reviewing work and quality control.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 7 years working experience as a Canadian Registered Architect. You will also have a minimum of 3 years' project management experience including the coordination of a team during design and construction documents preparation. You will ideally have multi-disciplinary experience, specifically mixed use residential, retail and office, both new designs and renovations with knowledge of BC Building Code Part 3 and ASHRAE 90.1. You will have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
