Senior Accountant

Horizon Recruitment is seeking a Senior Accountant to help support our fast-growing client that is doing some great work in an exciting industry.

Job Description:

As a key part of the operational accounting team, you will work closely with operations to provide accurate reporting and analysis to allow for quality decision making and regulatory compliance. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations for a portfolio of entities, responsible for everything from financial statements and tax returns, to variance analysis and management reporting.

Requirements:

• An accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or working towards one would be ideal
• Experience working with ERP and/or BI systems and generally comfortable with technology.
• Ability to analyze complex business situations and summarize key issues
• Must be a team player and effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Someone who takes pride in their work with a strong attention to detail
• Well organized, structured, and efficient
