STRIVE is working with a fantastic client of ours, a large ($200m+) manufacturing company based in Langley, who is looking for an Intermediate / Senior Accountant to join their high caliber, accounting team.

As the Intermediate/ Senior Accountant, you will be reporting to the Corporate Controller, performing full-cycle accounting along with inventory control, and fixed-asset reporting. The client's ideal candidate is someone with 3-5 years of experience in a complex environment such as manufacturing, distribution, engineering, or retail. Full-cycle Accounting including:

•Inventory Reporting - maintain and analyze inventory levels and update periodic summary and journal entries for financial reporting

•Fixed Asset Reporting - reconcile general ledger, adjusting journal entries and provide financial performance analysis

•Long Term Debt and Capital Lease Reporting - report on liability position and debt classification

•Update, prepare and analyze periodic working paper, variance analysis, and reports

•Prepare any required adjusting entries as required after an investigation

•Ensure all period end, quarter-end, year-end requirements in the assigned areas are completed in a timely manner

•Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliation and ensure accuracy


•3+ years of accounting experience

•Preferably hold a professional designation in accounting

•Knowledge of ERP/Accounting systems

•Knowledge of preparing and analyzing financial information and general ledger reconciliations

•Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

•Strong advanced understanding of Microsoft Office particularly Excel

•Able to manage and summarize large volumes of data into meaningful information

•Ability to stay current on accounting standards which may impact financial reporting and audit requirements
