We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Part time/Casual Security Guards to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients and patrons
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns
• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• De-escalate crisis situations, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire and paramedic resources
• Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
• Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability and day to day reports
• Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)
Qualifications
• Valid BC Security Licence
• Valid Basic First Aid is an asset
• BC Class 5 driver's license
• Reliable transportation (site-dependent)
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Previous security or customer service experience
• Experience with patrols, access control, and CCTV systems

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid BC Security Licence
Valid Class 5 License
