Calm, cool, and collected. As a Health Care Security Officer, you know how to remain this way while working under pressure. You provide exceptional customer service skills and always do so with a friendly smile. You may utilize PPE and write detailed incident reports thanks to your excellent written communication skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Along with patrolling the facility regularly, your outstanding attention to detail ensures all entries to secure areas are authorized.

You will be positioned at the hospital for access control, our main job focus is to monitor the Emergency department to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Security is required to stay positioned at the Emergency department and screen people entering and ask them general questions to ensure their visit is legitimate.

Duties:

Greet and ask questions to patients and visitors such as "where are you headed today" "are you here to visit a doctor" Etc.

Notify on-site security in the event of an emergency.

Assist in patient watch duties as requested.

Notify Manager of any incidents relating to potentially violent situations/aggression.

Location: Ft. St. James - Hospital
Wage: $ 26.75
Shift/Hours Requires: Days/Evenings/Overnights.
YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

Valid BC Security License

Physically fit for all interior and exterior Patrol daily.

Provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile.
