Leveraging your accumulated SAP experience and partnering with other skilled and passionate SAP team members, you will have ample opportunities to design and build new solutions based on emerging technologies like HANA. You'll showcase your experience to date as you configure, monitor, tune and troubleshoot the large landscape of SAP technical environments at TELUS. Additionally, you will demonstrate your technical leadership through owning incident, problem, and change management across all competencies including the technical part of the SAP application as well as infrastructure.

•Design, install, configure and administer SAP systems
•Collaborate with DBA's to install SAP databases
•Liaise with the business departments in analyzing and defining requirements
•Create detailed technical specifications
•Manage projects and ensure deadlines are met
•Assess, plan and implement SAP core patches
•Monitor enterprise gateways
•Ensure high availability of SAP systems and databases
•Partner with our AMS team and SAP to analyze and troubleshoot lockouts, work process and job terminations or other technical system issues
•Administer transport management and SAP basis standard jobs, print management
•Perform system integrations and migrations
•Interface with all delivery competencies including app, DB, and infrastructure also including service center to resolve issues
•Communicate to leadership team and SAP Service Delivery Manager on major escalations
•Oversee high availability and disaster recovery configurations and support High Availability and Annual Disaster Recovery testing and planning plus participate and input into the business continuity planning process with business lead for all disaster recovery plans
•Recognized for your SAP BASIS certification
•Acknowledged for your 7+ years of experience or 5+ years of direct SAP experience
•Expert with installing and upgrading SAP and HANA
•Commended for your knowledge of Solution Manager, CCMS and other monitoring tools
•Knowledge of SAP system security, including single sign-on
•Valued for your troubleshooting complex issues with SAP systems
•Skilled in SAP technical environment: SQL, HANA, ABAP and Java NetWeaver stacks, ECC, GRC, PI, BI, BOBJ, SRM, MDM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, Fiori, Screen Personas, etc
•Regarded as a strong communicator and influencer, able to communicate complex ideas/concepts to a variety of audiences including senior leaders in a clear, compelling and easy to understand manner
•Confident with your analytical and problem-solving skills
•Known for your strong technical documentation skills
•Distinguished for your high degree of curiosity and appetite for learning
•Driven by your creativity, innovation and continuous improvement mindset, and willingness to take risks based on facts, data and the belief in the art of the possible
•Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field Great-to-have
