What does it take to succeed in sales at Drop? A successful team member will lean into the challenge, becoming a first point of contact within their first week, be facilitating sales calls and RFQ’s while populating quotes and understand part numbers from our catalog by their second week, and become a fully integrated team member capable of meeting their daily sales quota, understanding our ideal customer profile, onboarding new customers and expanding their outbound sales reach by the end of their first month. What do YOU need to do to be successful in this role?

  • Understand organizational sales objectives, plans, programs and budgets.
  • Communicate and execute all activities related to customer service.
  • Maintain contact with an established customer base.
  • Communicate and strategize with the sales team on all related client issues for both internal & external.
  • Work in conjunction with operations personnel to ensure orders are processed.
  • Provide the highest level of service possible to both internal and external customer requests and requirements.
  • Be accountable to your team and the organization to meet, beat and exceed goals and targets.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary education, or equivalent work experience in business or related field.
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills are a must.
  • Be able to display an excellent sales aptitude along with the ability to learn and retain complete knowledge of our products and services.
  • Have a genuine customer service commitment for both internal & external clients.
  • Have the ability to handle multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ability to prioritize, focus and manage multi-tasking in a SUPER fast paced environment.
  • Desire to better yourself, to succeed and to help you and your team win.
