We are seeking a Sales Support Manager to be a proactive, contributing member of the sales team. As a Sales Support Manager you will work closely with our customers and account executives to manage ongoing product and service sales to existing customers; including forecasting, quoting and order fulfilment. You will support the sales operations manager and be involved in various initiatives and ongoing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Management and our Customers for the introduction/implementation of customized Customer products
  • Responsible for maintaining the CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) by meticulously documenting customer communications and activity
  • Provide excellent customer service by following through with prompt and effective responses to customer inquiries
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through product expertise and business acumen
  • Support the Customer Onboarding Initiative
  • Contribute to short and long term business plans through in depth understanding of revenue streams and potentials
  • Collaborate across departments (Marketing, Operations and Finance) to communicate and meet customer requests in a timely fashion
  • Facilitate internal process improvements

Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive inside sales and/or Customer Service experience within a high-tech company
  • Excellent Customer Service, Interpersonal and Organizational skills
  • Proven ability to successfully support and manage customers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced with CRM and ERP systems is essential
  • Science and/or pharmaceutical background is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Highly motivated and capable of working effectively both individually and as part of team
