About the OpportunityDirect Plus Food Group is looking for a full-time Sales Specialist based in Cranbrook, BC.
Reporting to the Sales Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in growing sales, strengthening customer relationships, and representing a trusted portfolio of food brands across the region.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for increasing product visibility and market presence by building relationships, maintaining merchandising standards, and supporting promotional activities.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with customers
- Growing and maximizing sales within your assigned territory
- Executing merchandising standards across retail locations
- Cold calling prospects and supporting new business acquisition
- Maintaining schematics on corporate accounts
- Communicating with Corporate Account Managers and internal teams
- Supporting and participating in company sales programs and incentives
- Operating independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team

To qualify, you must have a valid Class 5 driver's license, a clean driving and criminal record, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs of product.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Confidence in cold calling and engaging new prospects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort driving an extended Ford Transit van
- Professional demeanor and self-motivation
- Ability to travel and stay overnight when required
- Organized and able to maintain schematics and merchandising standards
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
