The Position:

 

As a Sales Representative, you are an incredibly important part of the team. You are a relationship builder with the residents, building managers, and concierges in the buildings we service. You are the first impression of Novus for most and a key representative of our values, always striving to provide the best experience possible.  You are genuinely interested in connecting with people and helping them find the right TV, Internet and Phone services for their unique needs. You also enjoy the opportunity to earn uncapped commission on every account you sign up! Some of your responsibilities include:

 

  • Following up on sales leads and inquiries via phone calls and emails.
  • Selling and promoting our Internet, TV and Phone services.
  • Reaching out to current customers for retention and upselling purpose.
  • Developing and nurturing a strong relationship with building managers and concierges.
  • Organizing and attending Sales events in the buildings in your territory.
  • Participating in sponsored marketing events as well as street teams.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a sales, retail or telemarketing environment
  • High School Diploma required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce an asset
  • A valid BC drivers license
  • Product knowledge or industry experience preferred

 

 

You are:

 

  • An excellent communicator who thrives on building relationships.
  • A team player but can also work independently with minimum supervision.
  • A people person. Your outgoing, positive and fun personality shines through.
  • Highly organized with exceptional customer service skills and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Goal oriented and thrive working in a fast paced, rapidly evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Available to work weekends and evenings.
  • An enthusiast of all things TV and Internet, and technology in general.
  • Bilingual? Trilingual? Awesome and a huge bonus but not necessary.
  • Have previous experience in the industry? That’s an extra bonus!
