The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a critical role in driving the growth of our customer base. You will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. Job Description:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a critical role in driving the growth of our customer base. You will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. This role requires a self-motivated and energetic individual who can effectively engage potential clients and create a strong pipeline for our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting (calls, texts, emails) to generate qualified leads in a call centre environment
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads
- Respond to inbound inquiries and engage potential customers to understand their needs and qualify them as sales opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to convert qualified leads into purchases
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in our CRM system
- Continuously improve sales skills and industry knowledge through training and development opportunities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales development or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales engagement tools
- A passion for sales and a desire to learn and grow within the company
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Call center experience preferred but not required
