Our #1 value at Canfor is Safety and we make no exceptions in its pursuit. As our Safety Specialist- Wood Products, you will oversee all safety programs and systems for our Central Operations(Pr. George, Bear Lake, Vanderhoof and Houston, BC). You will be the main resource to managers, employees, and contractors in the interpretation and application of all internal safety standards and regulatory requirements.

You bring your years ofexperience working in a workplace health and safety compliance, for bonus points your experience is in a manufacturing environment. You have a solid understanding and application of Health and Safety Regulations and your interpersonal and team building skills exceed all expectations. Ideally you are a Canadian Registered Safety Professional, or you are in the process of completing.
