Rolls Operator - Journeyman level:  Harvey 2259

We are a currently looking for a Rolling Machine Operator with 3 years plus of previous working experience with heavy metal bending, rolling, and fabrication working experience for our company that is located in Burnaby. This position is to produce metal components as per the drawing provided, in a safe and proficient mannor. Previous working experience is required, and you must be able to operate an overhead crane, to support the parts you are working on.


  • Setup and adjust machinery to roll a wide variety of plates angles and flat shapes
  • Operate manual plate and angle rolls to make rolled parts
  • Produce required shapes using drawings, templates, and prototypes
  • Preheating and tack welding will be required
  • Complete quality control checks and documentation


  • 3 years plus of plate rolling experience
  • Ability to read fabrication and machine shop drawings
  • Experience with common measuring tools; tape measures, steel rules, calipers, sweeps, dial indicators, and protractors
  • Experience with overhead cranes and material handling equipment
  • High school graduation or equivalent, including a strong command of mathematics and trigonometry
  • Additional technical training would be an asset

This is a fulltime position

Salary of $25.00 –$30.00 per hour, depending on expertise
