We are seeking a motivated registered nurse with a real passion for delivering compassionate patient care to join our Organ Transplant Clinic.

Critical Care is one of 13 clinical service programs provided through an integrated network of community, intermediate, and tertiary services to Fraser Health patients who are critically ill.

Build on your career experience by:
    •Assessing clients post solid organ transplantation requiring/requesting admission to the Organ Transplant Clinic and coordinating interdisciplinary assessment and follow-up treatment throughout their lifespan. •Planning, implementing and reviewing client education using experience of knowledge of content area and adult education principles •Consulting, conferring and collaborating with team members and other health care givers in addressing health issues of client group •Participating in various internal and external multidisciplinary committees as a representative of transplant services •Reviewing literature, analysing trends and recommending changes to modify current nursing practices


Your background includes:
    •Graduation from an approved School of Nursing. Two (2) years recent related transplant experience, including experience in adult patient education •Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)


This role is a relief part-time position located in Surrey, BC. Surrey is one of Canada's fastest growing cities and its land mass makes it the largest city in the province.
