We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to join Langley Memorial Hospital.

Build on your work experience and education as you:
    •Provides family, patient and staff education, which may include participating in established education programs. •Performs outpatient procedures including bronchoscopies, pediatric exercise challenges, ABG's, care of chronic ventilated patients. •Requisitions supplies and minor equipment for departmental operations within approved budget; maintains area supply inventory. •Participates in quality improvement activities such as development, implementation and evaluation of written procedures and standards, development of assessment forms and patient materials, and the development of departmental goals and objectives. •Maintains documentation by ensuring reports, record and workload statistics are complete and accurate according to established departmental standards.

To join the organization we require you to have:
    •Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Successful completion of the Canadian Board of •Respiratory Care credentialing exam. Two years' recent experience. •Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT). •Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Level C and current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
