As a Resource Management Specialist - Audit BC , you bring a passion for excellence, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to outstanding client service. You will support the GEO Resource Management Team, contribute to resource allocation and capacity planning, and help maintain strong relationships with Audit & Assurance leadership. You will also support forecasting and capacity analysis across hiring, attrition, promotions, and other workforce metrics to deliver data-driven insights that improve utilization .

What you will do
  • Support staffing and utilization efforts by preparing reports that enable the Resource Manager and other leaders (e.g., Performance Managers, Engagement Managers, Partners) to make informed staffing recommendations and decisions.
  • Report and analyze Resource Management metrics (e.g., utilization trends, capacity forecasting, variance) and present findings and recommendations in team meetings.
  • Design and maintain staffing dashboards and reporting tools to support ongoing operational management and planning.
  • Extract and consolidate reports and supporting data (e.g., utilization statistics, process compliance statistics) to inform operational decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to balance resource supply and client demand, including monitoring unit and individual progress toward goals.
  • Identify opportunities for staff development, such as growth in key industries and in-demand market skills.
  • Support documentation of System of Quality Management ( SoQM ) controls and monitor process and systems compliance for assigned resources, ensuring chargeable and non-chargeable time is accurately captured in the scheduling tool.
What you bring to the role
  • 3+ years of experience in scheduling, Resource Management, project management, or operations management.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint (e.g., data entry and manipulation, downloading reports, and developing/running macros); experience with Power BI or resource forecasting tools is an asset.
  • Experience working in a professional services environment is an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent work streams.
  • Excellent business communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management.
  • Ability to work and navigate effectively within a matrix organization/partnership structure.
  • A demonstrated track record of supporting behavioral or process change within a large organization.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $5 5 , 0 00 to $ 82 , 0 00 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills, & competencies , and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
