Residential Construction Project Manager: Harvey 2328
We are a well-established residential general contractor that is located in Vancouver BC, who is currently looking for a Residential Construction Project Manager.
Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in construction project management of wood-frame and / or concrete residential projects;
Local experience and, or, knowledge of the Vancouver and Lower Mainland construction industry preferable
Experience in construction estimating including ability to carry out detail quantity take-offs of concrete, lumber, excavation, and back fill, etc.;
Ability to prepare sub-contract scopes of work, call for trade pricing, prepare detailed summary of sub trade prices and prepare sub- contracts;
Ability to work with site superintendents, and to coordinate, and manage projects from start to completion.
Good communication and conflict resolution skills
Establish construction schedules and lead times, co-ordinate, update and modify project schedules.
Prepare two week look ahead schedules and push trades to meet target dates.
Knowledge of Office, including Microsoft Projects.
Project sizes ranging from 5 Million to 40 Million.
Local engineering degree, BCIT Building Technology or related education is an asset.
Experience with LEED building requirements is desirable

Salary is open, depending on current working experience
