Resident Manager required for high-end rental property, Vancouver, BC.

Your new company
A family owned company with its roots firmly planted in Vancouver. This company owns also owns and manages a selection of office, retail and warehouse spaces throughout Greater Vancouver. The hallmark of this company is their commitment to providing top quality maintenance and care to ensure that the tenant's needs are always met in a timely and professional manner.

Your new role
In this large apartment building, you will be required to work in to ensure that the building is fully leased and all maintenance tasks are completed on schedule. You and your partner will be responsible for a wide variety of duties in the building including painting, drywall and any basic repairs in the units. Prior to move-ins, you will need to strip the suits and prepare the unit for contractors to renovate. As well as show suites and sign rental agreements, you will have to be present in the property office during the day to deal with any inquiries.

What you'll need to succeed
Complete and submit to Head Office all paperwork related to service requests, requisitions, expense reports, incident reports, etc; Provide day to day monitoring and minor preventative maintenance for the property and building equipment; Provide day to day monitoring and maintenance pertaining to the ponds; Provide day to day monitoring and maintenance pertaining the fitness facility and equipment; Respond to resident service and maintenance requests in a timely manner; Facilitate and monitor service providers and trades on site; Identify and communicate opportunities for efficiencies and improvements in the management of the property; Ensuring that the building is a safe and secure environment for all residents; Work with the Property Manager to establish and maintain control over keys and security devices (fobs), including issuing devices with appropriate programming and delete any lost or stolen devices, replace keys or retrieve keys for terminated leases; Responsible for the management of all security matters, including the physical condition of the property, access control and monitoring, resident (and visitor) behaviours, etc.
