Position Highlights

In this role you will provide support to all aspects of the assigned research program. The role assists the project leads with ethics applications and literature reviews, as well as the preparation of grant proposals, research presentations, posters and manuscripts for publication.

Your Specific duties will include:
    •Assists with completion and submission of ethics applications, the development of data collections, and conducts preliminary literature reviews for the research project. •Assists in the collection and recording of research data by utilizing computer spreadsheet and database applications (such as MS Excel and SPSS), gathering and checking data and developing appropriate links and formulae for spreadsheets and databases summarizes information and generates reports using word processing and presentation graphics software applications. •Assists in coordinating the work flow within the assigned area or project. Receives, reviews, and processes information and takes follow-up action as required. •Supports new research generation and knowledge dissemination activities through the preparation of project proposals, research presentations and posters, project summaries and manuscripts for publication. •Performs various administrative and clerical functions such as the coordinating of research meetings and events including networking dinners and educational workshops, as well as planning of agendas, and recording of meeting minutes.

    •Bachelor's degree in a health- related discipline •One (1) year recent related clinical research experience.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

This is a temporary part-time and will be available until February 2022.
