We are seeking a Representative, Incident Reporting & Claims to come aboard and provide support in our Provincial Workplace Health Call Centre.

•Implements WSBC claims processes to ensure the effective and efficient management of WSBC claims within the initial phase of the claim cycle for each Health Authority. •Enters incident reports from employees and managers, collecting required information to initiate employee incident report; submits claims according to WSBC policy and regulations; reviews incident information to apply protest on behalf of the employer(s) on the WorkSafeBC Form 7 Employer's Report. •Accesses Health Authority WorkSafeBC Employer Portal Accounts to review confidential WorkSafeBC claim status letters on behalf of the Health Authorities. Reviews and processes Employer Form 7 requests received from WorkSafeBC via individual Employer Portal Accounts for each Health Authority. •Acts as a contact for internal and external WSBC claims inquires; refers to appropriate team member when necessary.
Do you have demonstrated knowledge of claims management practices, relevant collective agreements and WorkSafeBC and workplace health legislation? We are looking for a pleasant person with an eye for detail. You are able to set priorities, are driven and have exceptional self-motivation skills enabling you to thrive independently in your position. Qualifications:
•1 year relevant post-secondary coursework such as Occupational Health & Safety, Disability Management, Claims Management, or Human Resources. •Two years recent related experience in claims management in a multi-union environment. •Ability to type 60 w.p.m.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
