Hays IT is urgently seeking a Release Manager. This is a full-time permanent position for a stable, well established, international financial services company in Victoria. The company is accepting applicants from outside of Victoria as long as they are willing and able to relocate.
Your new role
As the Release Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include working with the project management and development teams to schedule coordinate and manage software releases through dev, test and production environments. You will work with the release engineers to write scripts and use automation tools to build integrate and deploy code across the platforms. You will be working in the financial services sector with leading edge e-commerce solutions on enterprise wide applications.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will have a minimum 3 + years' of release management experience including experience troubleshooting the operations environment and a solid understanding of project management methodologies. You will have 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft development stack including Project and Visio. Strong communication skills are extremely important and mandatory. Things that would add value: experience with financial services, ability to work in a fast paced environment and proven experience to meet release deadlines in a Microsoft environment.
What you'll get in return
Our client has been growing YoY and in turn so has their demand for increasingly sophisticated applications. The targeted compensation band is from $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
