•Providing initial client consultation, conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and establishing therapeutic relationships •Making a nursing diagnosis of the client's condition and assisting clients to achieve an optimal level of function by facilitating timely and appropriate health services •Utilizing software applications available at the site for data collection and analysis •Provides health counselling to clients including education, self-management, self-monitoring and wellness/health promotion Your background includes:
•Graduation from an approved school of Nursing •Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) •Completion of applicable post graduate course work and two (2) years' recent urgent/emergency care clinical nursing experience including assessing and treating children, youth and adults in an acute or community/outpatient care setting
This is a casual role located at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre in Surrey, BC. Surrey is one of Canada's fastest growing cities and its land mass makes it the largest city in the province, equal to the size of Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby combined.
