•Providing consultation, mentorship and support in the use of tools and mechanisms to measure and evaluate quality improvement initiatives •Collecting, compiling, detailing and submitting reliable data •Identifying process improvement in the data collection process •Participating in ongoing physician learning Your background includes:
•Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) •Two (2) years' experience in an acute care environment in surgical nursing, supplemented by additional training/education in statistical analysis, quality improvement methodologies and patient safety
This role is a part-time position at located at Delta Hospital (DH) in Delta, BC. DH is a 58-bed community hospital offering medical, surgical daycare, outpatient chronic disease management clinics, extended care unit, palliative care as well as 24/7 emergency services with 32,973 visits annually. Delta has a rich farming and agricultural history and has grown into three fast-growing communities: Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta.
