Position Summary
Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Seven Sisters.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position provides clinical nursing care within a recovery model of care. This position works with an interprofessional team and assists with the day-to-day delivery of services needed for the 'recovery model of care.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, 08:00 to 16:30 (rotating)

Qualfications
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
• Two (2) years recent experience working directly in substance use and/or mental health treatment.
• Knowledge of substance use treatment methodology and community-based programming.
• Knowledge of Mental Health and Substance Use Co-Morbidity.

Skills and Abilities:
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Experience working within a community setting with adults with a mental illness and substance use concerns.
• Knowledge of importance of relationship building, harm reduction, psychological rehabilitation, motivational and activation techniques.
• Computer skills.
• Good written and verbal reporting skills.
• Good organization, time and general management skills.
• Class V Driver's License and own transportation.
• Current criminal record check.
• Full understanding of the Community Care Facilities Act.
