- Providing clinical supervision, guidance and support to nursing staff, clinical team members and support staff

- Facilitating day-to-day operations of the assigned unit including daily patient flow

- Working collaboratively and in partnership with the interprofessional care team

- Participating in research, policy, quality improvement and risk management activities

- Supporting program and/or regional activities

- Providing clinical support, mentorship and evaluating the effectiveness of learning objectives

- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

- Recent 3 years related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including (1) year of supervisory experience

- Completion of post graduate course work and/or certification applicable to designated clinical area

This role is a relief part-time position located at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) in Surrey, BC. SMH offers medical, surgical, neonatal intensive care, tertiary, ambulatory, cardiology, rehabilitation, as well as 24/7 emergency services with 158,558 visits annually.
