Build on your career experience by:
    •Providing care to acutely ill elderly clients •Assessing patients within an acute care unit for elders and collects information from a range of sources using skills of observation, communication, data review and physical assessment. •Supporting patients and their families/care givers in developing the care plan and encouraging family participation in the development, implementation and ongoing modification of the care plan •Collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team •Supporting patient-focused care using a problem-solving approach
Your background includes:
    •Graduation from an approved school of Nursing •Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) •One (1) year recent related acute care experience

This role is a casual position located at Burnaby Hospital in Burnaby, BC. Burnaby is centrally located within the rapidly growing metropolitan area of the Lower Mainland.
