Registered Nurse ~ Medicine - Outpatient Intravenous (IV)

We currently have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Antibiotic Therapy Program at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, British Columbia.

This position offers you the opportunity to:

•Assess and provide IV therapy care within an outpatient intravenous (IV) setting •Be part of diverse, committed and enthusiastic team •Provide education to patients and families/care givers •Participate in research and quality improvement activities

To be the successful candidate, you will have:

•Graduated from an approved school of Nursing •Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) •Recent 1 year experience with peripheral intravenous (IV) initiation and central venous catheter management
