Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Wrinch Memorial Hospital.

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Patient care services, or designate, this position is responsible for providing Nursing care to patients/clients in the Emergency Room, according to established NHA policies and procedures. This position also provides ambulance transports as necessary. On call duties are part of the rotation. The registered nurse assists with the implementation of primary care duties within the course of the daily duties

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights - 07:00 to 19:15, 19:00 to 07:15, rotating

New Wage: As of April 1, 2023 the new wage is: $40.21 - $57.78/hour

Wrinch Memorial Hospital , a fully accredited acute care facility. It is a full service hospital with visiting specialists in podiatry, geriatric assessment, cardiology, pediatric cardiology, internal medicine, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, otolaryngology, pediatrics, respiratory and allergy, rheumatology, and occupational therapy.

The Hazeltons (Hazelton, New Hazelton and South Hazelton) are nestled within the spectacularly rugged Roche de Boule Mountain Range in Northern British Columbia with a population of 827 (2021). Qualfications
•Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
•Minimum of one years' experience in Emergency, Outpost and/or Rural Hospital Nursing.
•Trauma Nursing Core Competency (TNCC) and ACLS certification or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
•Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
