For over 25 years BayBridge-Baltic Group has been specializing in designing and developing seniors-oriented health care and housing complexes across Canada.
Its most recent projects include commissioning seven seniors-oriented health care and housing complexes in British Columbia. Ranging in size from 90 to 256 beds, these residences feature supportive housing, assisted living, complex residential care services, hospice/palliative care services, acquired brain injury services, and mental health and substance use programs.
The organization understands that growth is important and has current expansion plans to open a new 256-bed property in Port Coquitlam in early 2016, and another property in Kelowna in 2017.
Currently, we are searching for multiple, full time Registered Nurses to join our teams in Chilliwack and Surrey/Langley, BC.
Adhering to established nursing practices and company standards, policies and procedures of the host organization, you will provide direct primary nursing care for residents while ensuring resident well being and safety.
More specifically, you will:
To qualify, you must be a graduate from an approved School of Nursing and have current registration with College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of British Columbia (RPNABC). A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate is essential and Gerontological experience would be highly desirable.
You have the ability to promote and maintain positive communication and rapport with all residents, staff and public to achieve positive nursing outcomes.
Above all, you are a team driven individual who has the physical and mental ability to carry out the duties of the position. Lastly, you are committed to maintaining current knowledge, trends and concepts in gerontological nursing.
