Critical Care is one of 13 clinical service programs provided through an integrated network of community, intermediate, and tertiary services to Fraser Health patients who are critically ill.
Build on your career experience by:
    •Planning, evaluating and delivering care to a variety of critically ill patients •Collaborating with patients and their families/care givers in developing the care plan •Partnering with members of the interprofessional care team in the provision of person-centered care •Participating in quality improvement activities and research by identifying patient care issues •Guiding patients and families/care givers about illness prevention, health restoration and health maintenance •Providing mentorship and acts as a preceptor to new nursing staff and students
Your background includes:
    •Graduated from an approved school of Nursing •Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) •Completion of applicable post graduate course work •Current Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

This role is a relief part-time position located at Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH) in Langley, BC. LMH is a community hospital with 192 acute beds offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, critical care, ambulatory care as well as 24/7 emergency services with 47,640 visits annually. Langley is comprised of the City of Langley and the Township of Langley, including the village of Fort Langley - the birthplace of BC. They have led to preserve their small town atmosphere while still offering all the amenities of a major bustling urban centre and a range of housing options from small farms to apartments.
