Our client is based in Northern BC, located approximately 1 hour North of Prince George. This company is looking to hire a Red Seal Millwright to join their maintenance team. Our client has been delivering top-quality lumber, pulp and paper products to valued customers worldwide for over 75 years. They are leaders in sustainable forest management and in converting wood residuals into green energy.
Your new role
As Red Seal Millwright, you will be working the graveyard shift of 4 - 10 hour shifts.You will be a key player in a company-wide continuous improvement effort through daily use of troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies. You will be responsible for the maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains and bearings. You will be able to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to repair equipment. You will also be responsible for operating, hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up and repair of equipment and machinery.
