JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Recruitment Assistant will support senior recruitment consultants throughout the recruitment process.  They will also be responsible for providing executive level support to the senior management team across Canada.  As such the successful candidate must be comfortable working across multiple time zones. 

The key accountabilities are as follows:

  • Calendar management
  • Uploading relevant documentation into company database
  • Managing correspondence of absent recruiters and flagging those of importance
  • Coordinating meetings, taking minutes, creating agendas
  • Tracking action items and following up to ensure smooth operational flow of office
  • Maintain office supplies and electronic filing systems
  • Manage and assist with invoicing
  • Prepares monthly expense reports for the office
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

 

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal person for this role is someone who is looking for a more senior administrative position and to take the next step in their career.  The successful candidate must have high attention to detail and be comfortable speaking with lawyers and senior executives.   In addition to exceptional organizational skills, the candidate must be pro-active and have a strong backbone to say no when other priorities take precedence.  

The following would be considered requirements:

  • 2 -3+ years experience in an administration role
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

The following would be considered assets:

  • Legal industry experience
  • Past HR experience
  • Experience working with Compas software

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • $45,000 to $50,000 per annum
  • Annual bonus based on company and personal performance
